S/he will also work closely with the Advisory Board, seeking approval for certain financial decisions as well as soliciting its support as big private-sector actors.  

The main duties and responsibilities of the Managing Director as follows:

1. Strategic Leadership and Delivery:
  • Develop, lead and monitor an institutional growth strategy in cooperation with the Executive Committee, ensuring its effective implementation to achieve organizational strategic goals and objectives.
  • Represent the Alliance at the highest level, ensuring its role within the global cashew industry is well understood, through direct engagement with policy makers and private and public sector stakeholders, as well as the establishment of an effective partnership strategy.
