Earlier MyGov India Portal celebrates former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birthday as "Good Governance Day".  The slogan is good governance through eGovernance main event starts at 10.45 am to 12.45 pm inaugurate by chief guest Sh. Ravi Shankar Parsad (Hon'ble Minister of Communication & IT, Government of India) at Manek Shaw Centre, Dhaula Kaun, Delhi Cantt (India) and exhibition timings are 10.45 am to 05.00 pm.

The mygov.nic.in is with slogan of Great Governance with Your Partnership.  It empowers citizens to contribute towards "Surajya" or good governance.  There are many people who want to contribute towards nation-building.  With this there is lot of saving of time and energy.  The most active contributors on the portal have a chance to meet prime minister of India in person based on credit points earned by users. 

Narendra Modi said that MyGov is a technology-driven medium that will provide citizens an opportunity to contribute towards good governance, the statement added.  The platform has an opportunity for people to both 'Discuss' and 'Do', adding, any idea shared by a contributor will also be discussed on the discussion forums, allowing constructive feedback and interaction. 

This platform will bridge gap between people and government. The democracy govt cannot succeed without people's participation in government.  We all can say that it is a great start by BJP as it is multiple theme-based discussions where a wide range of people can share their thoughts and ideas with the government.
